I’ve known the Powell Family for several years now.  Alex used to do photography part time herself and we met when I photographed her second baby as a newborn (see that session here).

This session was very special to me as a year ago, I photographed Vivian as a newborn along with her identical twin sister, Josephine.  Josephine sadly passed away a few days later and while I may share that session one day (with mom’s blessing of course), today we are celebrating sweet baby Vivian turning one!  It was a wonderful milestone to hit, although very bittersweet for this family too.

Vivian arrived at my Pensacola photography studio and her mom warned me that she was a hard nut to crack with smiling as she tended to be more serious in front of the camera.  Challenge Accepted!  Vivian was a total ham for me and full of personality the entire session.  I had so much fun photographing her and I’m pretty sure she liked me too!
