Well, it’s hard for me to believe but my oldest is celebrating her 10th birthday today! Seems like just yesterday, I was bringing her home from the hospital. Birthdays are always bittersweet for me. I love to see my children grow and change and learn new things….but I always secretly wish they could stay little forever. I decided to grab a few shots yesterday….her last day of being 9. We will more than likely do a more involved photo session in a couple weeks

This is a little different for me….first time using a backdrop and first time shooting an entire family indoors….I am definitely an outdoor, natural girl but I must admit that I do love the simplicity of these images

Here’s L & C along with their two girls K & C…..I’m posting these sessions a little backwards I guess. This is the same family from yesterday’s blog post and these images were actually taken a week before the outdoor session we just did. I’ve been told that baby girl K will be arriving next week at the latest so I’m very excited! Stay tuned for her newborn pictures!

Almost-Pensacola Maternity Photographer

Almost here. Yep…..you might remember my friend, L, from a previous maternity session….She was 25 weeks along during our first session and she’s almost 38 weeks now….we are all very anxious awaiting the arrival of baby girl K and she’s almost here!!!! We got daddy involved in this latest session and I couldn’t be happier with the images….they seep love. Stay tuned for little K’s newborn session soon!

L & C—we are grateful that we have you both in our lives….we couldn’t ask for better friends….love you both.

Something New-Pensacola Child Photographer

My daughter just got braces this morning. She was extremely nervous and didn’t really want to go through with it (let’s face it, what child DOES want braces) but we’ve been talking about how she will be glad she gets it out of the way now, while she’s young rather than having them when she’s older like I did. She’s only 9 so she didn’t get a full set since she doesn’t have all of her permanent teeth just yet…..today she got two brackets and they will add two more when she goes back next time….she really looks cute with them and I think is secretly proud of the way they look on her….she got lime green bands and she’s in heaven with her colorful mouth now. Anyway….she asked me to take a few pictures of her yesterday evening and I’m always up for taking pictures We’ll have to do another mini session with her new smile soon!

Babies Babies Everywhere-Pensacola Maternity Photographer

That’s what our family is going to be experiencing this year…..we have three babies all due by November….it’s going to be an exciting year!

While in Michigan last week, I did a quick mini session for another one of my nieces. Molly is 22 weeks along with her first baby….a boy….due in November. She isn’t super large yet but just starting to get a cute little baby bump so I thought it would be nice to get a few images of her now. She and her husband, Jamie, are hoping to make a trip down here to Florida sometime in September so I will have a fun time doing another session with them! Congrats Miss Molly….I know you are going to be a great mama!

I also got a couple of images of my two nieces together….Stacy (from my previous blog post) is on the left (34 weeks) & Molly is on the right (22 weeks).
