It doesn’t always go as planned-Pensacola Child Family Photographer

My husband and I are really good friends with the parents of the two little beauties….I’ve been wanting to photograph them for a while now….so the day before Father’s Day, Lindsay and Corey came out to visit and I had grand plans of a photo session with their two princesses, Kylie who is 5 and Cali who is 2. They are just the sweetest little girls (and beautiful to boot!) so I figured this session would be easy as pie….well….I really need to stop assuming things like that I suppose! HA! It was unbelievably hot outside even though we didn’t start until 6pm….and the knats were CRAZY. Kylie and Cali aren’t big fans of bugs (and I don’t blame them)….the poor little things had knats flying up their noses, in their ears, in their eyes….they were miserable between the bugs and the heat so we called it a day after attempting for about 20 minutes. I didn’t think I had really gotten much of anything….but I did find some little gems that I’m pleased with. And hopefully in August, we are going to try this again! Preferably at a place without bugs :) And I’m hoping I can talk mom and dad into doing some family shots…..come on guys….peer pressure :)

Corey and Lindsay….we love you guys! We feel blessed to call you our friends.

July 10, 2009 - 5:04 pm Crystal - I'm so glad I'm not the only one with this problem. Between heat and teeny black bugs I have a horrid time even shooting my own kids sometimes!

July 3, 2009 - 8:17 pm Kimberly - Great job! They are precious!
