Babies Babies Everywhere-Pensacola Maternity Photographer

That’s what our family is going to be experiencing this year…..we have three babies all due by November….it’s going to be an exciting year!

While in Michigan last week, I did a quick mini session for another one of my nieces. Molly is 22 weeks along with her first baby….a boy….due in November. She isn’t super large yet but just starting to get a cute little baby bump so I thought it would be nice to get a few images of her now. She and her husband, Jamie, are hoping to make a trip down here to Florida sometime in September so I will have a fun time doing another session with them! Congrats Miss Molly….I know you are going to be a great mama!

I also got a couple of images of my two nieces together….Stacy (from my previous blog post) is on the left (34 weeks) & Molly is on the right (22 weeks).

We had a great time visiting our family in Michigan last week. While I was there, I got the opportunity to do a 34-week maternity session for my niece Stacy. Stacy and her husband Craig are expecting their first baby…a boy….in August. I am so excited for them and I just know they are going to make great parents….this will be one lucky little boy! I can’t wait to meet him!

I had the pleasure of having a mini maternity session with the nicest little family yesterday evening. N and T are expecting their first baby….a boy….in about 3 weeks. You can tell just how over the moon they both are waiting for his arrival. I know how nervous they both were to have their picture taken so I hope I was able to make the process as comfortable as possible for them. They were a lot of fun to shoot. Stay tuned in June for pictures of their newest addition!

Friends-Pensacola Maternity Photographer

I’ve been very good friends with L and her husband C for many years now. I just adore their entire family They have two daughters already and are expecting another little girl in August! L is about 25 weeks along and we thought it would be nice to get a few belly pics in now….planning to do another session when she’s approaching her due date….hopefully we can convince her husband and her little girls to join in on the fun during the next session.

Baby Shower Fun-Pensacola Beach Maternity Photographer

I had the pleasure of capturing a baby shower for K this past Sunday. It was held at a restaurant on the beach and was very cute and casual. K is due to have her first baby….a BOY….in about 5 weeks….and she asked if I would come and capture some candids of her shower because it was very special to her and she wanted to make sure she preserved the moments. I met some really nice people and it was so much fun to watch her open her gifts! You could sense how excited everyone is over the impending birth of this child. And K….well, she glowed. Not all pregnant women glow….I think that’s a myth…..but K definitely had that glow. K, thank you SO much for inviting me to such a special moment in your life. I can’t wait to do your maternity and newborn pictures!

Expecting-Pensacola FL Maternity Photographer

On Sunday, I had a session at my home for R. She’s 32 weeks along with her first baby….a boy! And you can tell just how excited she is over his impending arrival. (by the way…she had just been to the doctor and at 32 weeks, her son was estimated at 5 pounds 11 ounces….I think he’s gonna be a BIG baby!). She arrived at my home and was pretty much up for anything. We hit my field and shot away. The light wasn’t quite as perfect as I had hoped even though we didn’t start until 6pm….but it was cloudy and I lost my light about a half hour earlier than expected….of course, right before R left, the clouds opened up and there was some gorgeous sunflare in the sky where we had been shooting We also had another challenge….the biggest bumble bee I have ever seen….I swear that it stalked us the entire time we were out there! And R and I both are deathly afraid of those suckers so we did a lot of running….but I will say that he definitely preferred R over me….he wouldn’t leave her alone! But we managed through it and got some really nice shots. Here’s your sneak peek R. I hope you love them! And I’m looking forward to having a session with you and your husband soon as well as meeting and shooting baby A!

Here’s sneak peek #2 for J. She has a golf theme in Baby K’s nursery and wanted to try to incorporate that into some fun shots at her session….and of course, E is just precious while playing with mommy’s tummy….I LOVE how she kept wrapping her feet around those golf clubs too! The countdown to Baby K’s arrival is on! Less than a week now!

Sneak Peek Part I

I had the pleasure of photographing beautiful pregnant J this week….she is 38 weeks along with her second baby and is due to have baby boy K any day now! She also has a daughter who’s almost 3 and she came along for a few shots as well. E was just the sweetest little girl….very girly and precious. I incorporated her into as many shots as she was willing to sit for and then she played with my kids during the rest of the session. My children hated to see her leave! Like I said, J is due to have a baby boy any day now….I believe she is scheduled for a c-section in about a week if baby K doesn’t decide to arrive sooner on his own. I can’t wait to meet him! And I’m sure his parents can’t wait either! Here’s a sneak peek of the session J….I will have a few more to post tomorrow for you too…..
