New Love – Pensacola Wedding Photographer

First, let me start off by saying that I am NOT a wedding photographer. I fully believe it takes a special talent to shoot weddings…just like I believe it takes a particular talent to photograph newborns. They both pose their own set of obstacles. I’m used to photographing brand new bundles of joy so taking a wedding on was a big challenge for me honestly. I can’t necessarily say that it was harder than photographing a newborn…just different. I photographed this wedding as a gift to my friends. I have to say that the love I captured through my lens got me teary eyed at times. All of my images might not be technically perfect but the love that was documented on this big day totally makes up for that in my opinion. Watching the reaction on the groom’s face when he was surprised by a handcrafted sign carried by the ring bearer was enough to make everyone in the room weepy. And then when he laid eyes on his bride (who looked absolutely stunning!) for the first time walking down the isle……I couldn’t have felt more blessed to be there to witness it. This is a long blog post everyone….but honestly, I had a hard time narrowing down images to make it shorter. These images together tell a story so they had to be together here for the first look.

Check out this little beauty….well, I should say big beauty…baby girl T was born weighing 9 lbs and 2 oz and I believe is the biggest newborn I’ve ever photographed. And talk about gorgeous! Look at all that dark hair! She wasn’t super keen on having her photograph taken really but what can I say…I’m super patient….and stubborn too!

Meet this cute little family….they were a blast to shoot….even while we were fighting with the blistering sun and super windy beaches. Grandma and Grandpa joined in for a few family shots as well.

They are expecting another little girl any day now and I have to say….they are going to have their hands full when it comes to the boys….a house full of beautiful little ladies

Thanks for having me over Saturday. I can’t wait to meet this new addition!!!

Color-Pensacola Newborn Photographer

Meet baby girl A. 6 days new. Her mama told me she liked color so we tried to use as much color as we could during our session. Baby A was a feisty one who did not want to be moved much and she hated for anyone to mess with her hands…I love getting those little fingers laid out straight but after a while, I just went with it and let her keep her little hands how she wanted…it was more important to get the shots so that her parents had some beautiful images to cherish My OCD about fingers had to be put on the back burner for the morning What a beautiful little treasure she is. I know her parents are loving every minute of being new parents. It was so nice to meet you guys!

Miss M is 7 months old and has grown so much since the last time I photographed her. She had had her shots the day before and I’m afraid was not feeling the greatest during our session but we managed to capture some cute shots that I hope her mama will love!

Remember this sweet couple from my last blog post? She actually went into labor a few hours after I posted her maternity session images. It was also their one year wedding anniversary! How cool is that?! But I think this little girl missed being born on their anniversary by about an hour. She came 3 weeks early and was already about 8.5 pounds so I can’t imagine how big she might have been if she had gone a few more weeks I love chubby babies and she had plenty of chub Little baby girl F was 3 weeks old by the time we were able to have her newborn session and she slept like a dream for the first set up we did but unfortunately never got settled again when I attempted a new set up But I know her parents will love the images we did get

I love these two…soon to be THREE! They were so much fun to photograph during our mini session the other day. It was super cold and windy but they were troopers. Baby girl should be making her grand entrance into this world any day now…not due until the first week In January but maybe she will surprise them as a little Christmas or New Year’s gift

Calm-Pensacola Newborn Photographer

Meet baby girl F. Born a week late…she was teeny but long. She was absolutely beautiful. And she was very alert. Sleep was hard to come by for this session but there was something so calm about this little one. No fussing…just calm and bright eyed. And with some patience, I won in the end and got my way…a few minutes of sleep was all I needed.

Remember this little cutie? I did a newborn session with him and he had the record number of smiles during a session. So adorable.

Well, he came back to see me for some 6 month pictures and he’s just as cute as can be. Not as many smiles for me this time around because the poor little guy was teething. But we got some cute shots and even got big brother and big sister in on the fun this time. And mom too!

I had the joy of photographing baby girl O last week. She was just a week old and absolutely beautiful. You can tell her parents are smitten.

Thanks mom and dad for allowing me to come into your home and disturb your babymoon so I could capture your precious little one
