I’m sure if you follow me, you know by now that I love nothing more than photographing newbo
rns.  They are my absolute favorite subjects to photograph and I think it will always remain that way for me.  There’s just something so beautiful about a newborn baby and each and every one that I photograph are completely unique.  As a mom of 7 children, I truly understand just how special these first photos of your new baby really are.

This little guy came to see me for a newborn wrapped mini session.  This is something new I started offering for families who only want a few really great images of their sweet new baby or for families who might not be able to budget out for a full newborn session.  I’d  personally much rather have a handful of really great images of my little one than a ton of mediocre images that I don’t really love.  Newborn minis are the perfect way to be able to afford to have incredibly beautiful images on a budget.  I do the entire session inside of my studio and I wrap the baby up so that they are cozy and content.  Wrapping them helps keep them sleepy so that the session is faster (typically only 45-60 minutes depending on your baby) than my full newborn sessions usually are so they are perfect little mini sessions that have become quite popular!  And look at that little smile!  He was super smiley this day and I captured about 5 different grins.  I love when that happens!
