Welcome to Amanda Leatherberry Photography....the Blog! Here, I will post sneak peeks from sessions and tidbits of my own personal life.

I am a maternity, newborn, child & family photographer based in Pensacola, Florida but can also hold sessions in surrounding areas, such as Gulf Breeze, Pensacola Beach, Navarre, Cantonment, Molino, etc....just contact me and we can work out the perfect location.

I am an on location, natural light, custom photographer.....which means that I will come to you....wherever you are or wherever you would like to have your session....I'm there! My style is modern, casual, fun and fresh. I love a good combination of black and white along with beautiful color and will offer both options for every session I do. I prefer to capture those natural moments as they happen....as opposed to having everything overly posed.

I feel so blessed to be able to pursue my dream in life with photography. Let's face it....life is short....we should all live it to the fullest! I hope I am able to capture all the wonderful little moments in your lives.....in a way that you will love....and be able to look back on at any moment in your life and fall in love with all over again. Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away....my goal is to capture some of those moments for you!

Something New-Pensacola Child Photographer

My daughter just got braces this morning. She was extremely nervous and didn’t really want to go through with it (let’s face it, what child DOES want braces) but we’ve been talking about how she will be glad she gets it out of the way now, while she’s young rather than having them when she’s older like I did. She’s only 9 so she didn’t get a full set since she doesn’t have all of her permanent teeth just yet…..today she got two brackets and they will add two more when she goes back next time….she really looks cute with them and I think is secretly proud of the way they look on her….she got lime green bands and she’s in heaven with her colorful mouth now. Anyway….she asked me to take a few pictures of her yesterday evening and I’m always up for taking picturesWe’ll have to do another mini session with her new smile soon!

Babies Babies Everywhere-Pensacola Maternity Photographer

That’s what our family is going to be experiencing this year…..we have three babies all due by November….it’s going to be an exciting year!

While in Michigan last week, I did a quick mini session for another one of my nieces. Molly is 22 weeks along with her first baby….a boy….due in November. She isn’t super large yet but just starting to get a cute little baby bump so I thought it would be nice to get a few images of her now. She and her husband, Jamie, are hoping to make a trip down here to Florida sometime in September so I will have a fun time doing another session with them! Congrats Miss Molly….I know you are going to be a great mama!

I also got a couple of images of my two nieces together….Stacy (from my previous blog post) is on the left (34 weeks) & Molly is on the right (22 weeks).

Family-Pensacola Maternity Photographer

We had a great time visiting our family in Michigan last week. While I was there, I got the opportunity to do a 34-week maternity session for my niece Stacy. Stacy and her husband Craig are expecting their first baby…a boy….in August. I am so excited for them and I just know they are going to make great parents….this will be one lucky little boy! I can’t wait to meet him!

I had the pleasure of having a mini maternity session with the nicest little family yesterday evening. N and T are expecting their first baby….a boy….in about 3 weeks. You can tell just how over the moon they both are waiting for his arrival. I know how nervous they both were to have their picture taken so I hope I was able to make the process as comfortable as possible for them. They were a lot of fun to shoot. Stay tuned in June for pictures of their newest addition!
